Personality/Background;
Nyx is one may call a… “prankster”. Being the daughter of the two best pranksters of Ponyville, who would expect less? Even though both of her parents are both snarky and sarcastic, Nyx finds herself none of those. Sometimes she can be very sassy towards some ponies when they talk about her too loud, but she mainly tries to keep civil the best she can. Even with her strange appearance, she is not that shy at all more boastful than anything. She boasts on how fast she is and how much magic she has. The one thing she can’t do? Be a Wonderbolt. She has terrible fears of becoming one due to her looks, she’s actually just fine with her ways as an Entertainer for ponies to hire. Rainbow and Discord were very shocked to find out that Rainbow was pregnant. The two started hanging out when Discord pulled a prank on Dashie, which of course she got him back. And he got her back and so on and so on. The feelings sparked up at the Grand Galloping Gala as Rainbow wore a beautiful silver dress. Discord tried his best to hide but his best friend, Fluttershy, saw right through him and couldn’t hold in it in when she saw Rainbow. Dash sparked the interest and then the two started to date. After 8 months, Rainbow fell pregnant. When Nyx was born, Rainbow Dash and Discord decided to get married.

Relationships;
Nyx has always been mama’s mare, as a filly she took every chance she could to have some mama Rainbow snuggling. She denies this as a teenager. As Nyx became a teen she became more and more aware of her difference between her and her mother, not just in appearance. Nyx feels a lot of pressure in not following in her mother’s hoof steps. She was absolutely terrified in having mother finding out that she didn’t want to become a Wonderbolt, all she wants to do is entertain ponies with her flips and tricks in the air. This caused Nyx to avoid her mother in her adulthood. To this, Rainbow doesn’t what she did and misses her little baby noodle bear.

Discord spoiled Nyx rotten as a small filly, then he started to give her lessons in magic and now the two love flying together and cause fun and safe mischief. Nyx has told her father about the pressure she feels about being Rainbow Dash’s daughter, but was begged with tears to not tell Rainbow by Nyx.

Nyx sees Scootaloo as the “very cool auntie”, even though she isn’t really her aunt. As a baby, Scoots used to watch her a lot so the two became pretty close. Her grandparents, like how they are to Rainbow and Scootaloo, go to all of shows where she entertains and always cheered her on. Even when she fell out of a tree and got back up as a kid.

Valiant Heart and Soft Lullaby are Nyx’s very best friends and have been ever since they were very young. Nyx has defended the two as they were being bullied and they do everything together. Val and Lully are the leads of the Ponytones, Nyx goes to every single one of their shows and screams like a huge fan-girl at each one.

Nyx was also really good friends to Twilight’s daughter, Layra Star, until they reached kindergarten when Star became jealous of Nyx’s friendship with Val and Lully. Nyx doesn’t understand it and misses the friendship they used to have so strongly.
